Like A Virgin

In June of ’83 Joe Elliott brought band members of  INXS and Adam & The Ants to meet me.  While talking to Stuart Goddard, lead singer for Adam & The Ants, discussing inspirations to write new songs he encouraged me to read newspaper articles.

Inspiration to write Like A Virgin performed by Madonna and the name of the band Evanescence came from the same  review of A Chorus Line by Frank Rich of The New York Times dated October 1983.
